I help developers, architects, and property owners navigate the arboricultural side of their projects across the GTA, from first site look to completion.
They’re part of what you are building.
Trees aren’t a problem to manage.
Hi, I’m Brent.
I don't just deliver reports. I solve problems.
I'm a Board Certified Master Arborist with nearly a decade of field experience, one of fewer than 40 BCMAs in Ontario. The credentials matter. So do the years I spent in the trees before I ever wrote a report about one.
I believe trees are part of what makes a neighbourhood feel like one. Whether that's a builder adding housing to an established community, a property owner protecting a tree they've lived under for twenty years, or a municipality stewarding a canopy that took decades to grow, the work matters beyond the paperwork.
When you hire me you get one person who understands the site, the bylaws, and what actually needs to happen. No handoffs, no gaps.
That's how I work. Every time.
Who I Work With
Developers & Builders
Navigating tree preservation bylaws, neighbour conflicts, and municipal approval requirements on tight timelines. I handle the arboricultural side so it doesn't slow the rest of the project down.
Whatever brought you here, there's a good chance I can help. Here's who I work with most.
Architects & Design Professionals
Arboricultural expertise integrated early so tree constraints inform the design, not derail it. Better outcomes when I'm at the table before the drawings are locked.
Property Owners
Professional assessments for tree risk, disputes, insurance claims, and permit requirements. Clear answers from someone with the credentials to back them up.
Municipalities
Tree inventories, risk assessments, AirSpade work, and arboricultural reporting grounded in field experience and current ISA standards.
Precision in Practice
I spent years working trees before I started consulting on them. That's not a detail. It's the difference between knowing what a report should say and knowing whether what it says is actually true on the ground.
Field Operations to Consulting
I still get into the field when the work calls for it. That's not common for consulting arborists. It means my assessments are grounded in what's actually happening on site, not just what the drawings show.
Documentation That Holds Up
As one of fewer than 40 Board Certified Master Arborists in Ontario, I produce documentation built on scientific protocols and current industry standards. Municipal reviewers scrutinize arborist reports. Development approvals depend on credible expertise. Mine holds up.
Responsive When It Counts
Questions arise mid-project. Permit conditions need clarification. Urban Forestry sends a comment. I respond quickly with clear answers. When timelines are tight, fast response is the difference between a minor question and a project delay.
Not sure where to start?
Bring me your situation. I'll tell you what you need, and what you don't.
